With holiday celebrations on the horizon, the spirit of the community seems to come alive.  Businesses are hard at work preparing for the Christmas shopping season, all the while opening their hearts to help support the Family Advocate Program, an organization that helps abused children.  The developers of Laguna Pointe, along with Woodhouse Group have put together an amazing event filled with auctions, raffles and amazing food, generously donated by Mortimer’s and Franco Latino.  This event is supported by businesses from all over the Treasure Valley who believe in providing a bright and happy future for children that come from abusive homes.  Cover photo by Tiffany Hix

A Farmer’s Market
Organic local produce is available right here in downtown Eagle.  Reggies Veggies - Mrs. Veggies Market has a rich family history of farming and bringing healthy local produce to the Treasure Valley.  Their selection is fantastic and their location is convenient, situated right next to Doug’s Burger Den, right down on State Street.  Their tasty veggies are just the ticket for healthy meals, and we’ve even included a couple recipes to enjoy this winter.

Winter Sunsets
Winter snowshoeing is not as hard as you think, and can be a great family activity to get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful sunsets that appear in winter.

Winter flyfishing is incredible in Eagle.  With convenient access to the Boise River, you’ll have to give it a try to see what it’s all about.
